WATERLOO — Robert Clinton “Bob” Kiple, 77, of Havana, Ark., died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center, Little Rock, Ark.

He was born Jan. 3, 1936, in Murray, son of Robert and Cora Young Kiple. He married Ruth McLain in 1961, they later divorced. He then married Patricia Pitts in 1978.

He graduated from Pineville High School, Pineville, Mo., in 1954. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1965. Mr. Kiple worked at John Deere in Waterloo from 1957 to 1990. He was a member of the Wilson Freewill Baptist Church, and he was a 50-year member of the Masons in which he was very active.

Survived by his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Carolyn Menken of Greene; two stepdaughters, Kathyern (David) VanBoeckman and Kimberly (Albert) Pettey, all of Mississippi; two sisters, Diane McGee of Alabama, Sylvia (John Rooff) of Waterloo; a brother Vance (Tammy Shepard) of Waterloo; grandchildren: Amanda Menken, Hilllary Menken and Dustin Marrs, Emily Menken and Ryan Whittenberg; stepgrandchildren, Cheyanna and Savannah Pettey, Konrad, Lelia, Elana and Evie VanBoeckman; four great-grandchildren; and two nephews and three nieces.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services: were May 15 at Havana Cemetery. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home Danville, Ark.
