WATERLOO — Peggy J. Bowers, 63, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home from natural causes.

She was born Aug. 28, 1949, in Waterloo, daughter of Robert D. and Elaine S. Robinson Morgan. She married Bobby J. Bowers on Nov. 25, 1987, in Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Bowers was employed by Home Health Care for 10 years, retiring in 1991.

Survived by her husband; her mother of Waterloo; two sons, Kurt G. Helm of Texas, and Tracey A. (Melinda) Rundel of Waterloo; a daughter, Cheriece M. Bowers of Waterloo; a sister, Sandra (Francis) Meyer of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by her father; a sister, Kay Rundel; and her grandparents.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church; the body will not be present, as she was cremated.

Memorials may be directed to the family for memorials funds to be established for Cedar Valley Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
