WATERLOO - SPC Jacob W. Anderson, 21, of Waterloo, died at home Friday, Nov. 23, 2007.

He was born Aug. 14, 1986, in Cedar Falls, son of Steven E. and Mindy Jacobsen Anderson. He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 2005, and had recently returned from Iraq, serving with the 1034th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Iowa Army National Guard.

Survivors include his father of Waterloo; his mother and stepfather, Mindy and Dave Scallon of Cedar Falls; a brother, Nicholas Lee of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister, Carissa Rae (Doug) Eagan of Britt; his paternal grandfather, E. W. Anderson of Waterloo; maternal grandfather, Alan (Judy) Jacobsen of North Liberty; and maternal grandmother, Phyllis Jacobsen of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Matrice Anderson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Bible Church, 125 Orchard Drive, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the 1034th CSSB, Iowa Army National Guard. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Operation Iraqi Children's Fund.
