The body of Mrs. Ida Gary, 92, who died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hattie Roby of 828 Fowler St., at 11:30 a.m. Saturday of complications of advanced age, will be removed from the Johnson Funeral Home Monday evening for burial in Goodman, Miss. She is survived by 225 descendants.

Mrs. Gary had been a resident of Waterloo for the past 12 years. Her husband, Thornton Gary, died two years ago and was also buried in Goodman, Miss, their home town.

She was born on April 17, 1875, in Lee County, Mississippi, the daughter of the Rev. John and Hattie Rushing Haynes.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one son.

She is survived by two brothers, the Rev. Eden Haynes of Detroit, Mich., and Fred Haynes of New York City; and two sisters, Mrs. Ophelia Neal of Long Island, N. Y., and Mrs. Mathilda Johnson of Durant, Miss.

She is also survived by three sons: John of 228 Charles St.. Thorton Jr. of 600 Albany St.. Roosevelt of Goodman, Miss; five daughters: Mrs. Roby, Mrs. Mary Ford of 414 Newell St., Mrs. Gertrude Singleton and Mrs. Ruth Howard of Sallis, Miss., and Mrs. Willie Campbell of Kosciusko, Miss.; 58 grandchildren; 149 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
