Mrs. Mabel Lenore Beardsley died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Presbyterian Hospital of influenza and pneumonia.

She was born Feb. 1, 1885, at Covert, Kan. At the age of nine she came to Iowa with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Gaston, locating on a farm near Raymond.

Feb. 8, 1905 she was married to James Meggison, who died April 4, 1905. March 8, 1907, she was married to William H. Beardsley. They resided in Waterloo six years prior to Mr. Beardsley's enlistment with the quartermaster department of the army. He is now with the A. E. F. at Noyen, Germany.

Surviving the decedent are the husband, parents, living east of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Davis Beardsley, Freeport, Ill., and a brother, Howard T. Gaston, living east of this city.

Funeral service will be a the Petersen Bros. Cahpel at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. O. J. Felter, pastor of the Raymond M. E. church, with which decedent united when young, in charge. Rev. Mr. Felton will be assisted by Rev. C. E. Luce. Burial will be in Poyner Cemetery near Raymond.
