CEDAR FALLS — Lorraine A. Muller, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Center.

She was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Harold, S.D., daughter of John L. and Lena Trey Claassen. She married Fred W. Muller on June 27, 1942, in Holland, Iowa. He preceded her in death July 4, 2008.

Mrs. Muller graduated from Grundy Center High School.

Survived by: two sons, James (Mary) of New Brighton, Minn., and Robert of Tripoli; two daughters, Carol Mitchell of Cedar Rapids and Brenda (David) Johnson of Denver, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a great-granddaughter; and three brothers, Laverne J., John L. and Wendell Claassen.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Garden, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s research.
