WATERLOO — Patrice Jean “Patty” Boleyn, 59, of Traer, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Allen Hospital of cancer.

She was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Waterloo, daughter of William Russell and Florence Irene Fossler Mehlhorn.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1971. She was self-employed as a business owner of the Frame Shop in Waterloo and was also an antique dealer.

Survived by her companion of 27 years, Rod Kisner of Traer; three stepdaughters, Mandy Kisner of Traer, Brandy Kisner of Waterloo and Tiffany Kisner of Dysart; three grandchildren, Zachery, Olivia and Jacob; a brother, Kevin Mehlhorn of Rochester, Minn.; two sisters, Diana Christensen of Mountain Home, Ark., and Kathleen (Lon) Christensen of Rockford, Ill.; seven nieces and a nephew.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, An Overton Family Service, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation.

Patty enjoyed antique dealing, shopping and fishing. She especially loved baking Christmas cookies, wrapping presents and spending time with her family. Anyone who knew Patty, knew she was a huge lover of animals, she will be greatly missed.
