CEDAR FALLS — Theresa “Terri” Sullivan, 57, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn., following a sudden illness.

She was born Dec. 15, 1955, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Maurice James and Mary Louise Shimpach Hagarty. She married Tommy Sullivan in Boston, and they later divorced.

She was a 1974 graduate of Columbus High School. She was currently working for U.S. Bank in Cedar Falls.

Survived by a daughter, Colleen Mary Sullivan of Cedar Falls; four sisters, Rosemary (La Vern) Millard of Independence, Kathryn (Thomas) Caley, Paulette Hawkenson and Margaret Ackerman, all of Cedar Falls; and five brothers, Robert (Janice) Hagarty, James (Kay) Hagarty, Thomas (Cathy) Hagarty and Daniel Hagarty, all of Cedar Falls, and Patrick (Traci) Hagarty of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Jacob Lee Hawkenson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with a 3 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the family.

Terri was also a proud aunt and great-aunt to 34 nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
