WATERLOO — Robert F. Sieglaff, 84, of Waterloo, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Waterloo, son of Walter F. and Dorothy Mergy Sieglaff.

Mr. Sieglaff graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1947 and had worked at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, retiring after 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Trinity American Lutheran Church.

Survived by: a brother, Dr. William H. Wehrmacher of Morton Grove, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Charles Sieglaff; and a sister, Patricia Becker.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

Memorials in lieu of flowers: may be directed to Visiting Nurses Association, Trinity American Lutheran Church or the family.
