WATERLOO — Ralph M. Fleck, 65, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born March 24, 1937, in Davenport, son of Guy and Helen Hoist Fleck. He married Carol Collins in 1973, in Waterloo, and they later divorced. Mr. Fleck was a truck driver for more than 25 years, and for the past 16 years worked for Nestle Transportation Co., DeKalb, Ill.

Survived by two daughters, Michelle (James) Hoskins of Waterloo and Autum (Marty) Close of Independence; two sons, Johnny and Michael, both of Marshalltown; his mother of Fayette; his long-time companion of 22 years, Mary Bloes of Waterloo; five grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Paula (Kevin) Johnson of Waterloo; a stepson, Travis (Lea) Stewart of Cedar Falls; and two sisters, Florence Buhman of Fayette and Dee (Tom) Coyne of Hometown, HI.

Preceded in death by his father; three sisters, Naomi Schinn, Mary Potter and Karen Voss; and a brother, John.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home
