WATERLOO — Steven A. Kresser, 65, of Moline, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

He was born Aug. 23, 1947, in Waterloo, son of Lawrence and Mildred Segebarth Kresser.

He was a U.S. Army and Marine veteran having served two tours in Vietnam. He had been employed by John Deere Tractor Works.

Survived by his wife; a son, Jason of Minnesota; a daughter, Jessica of Bettendorf; two stepchildren; two grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; three brothers, Craig of Washington, David of Waterloo and Gary of Arizona.

Preceded in death by his parents: and an infant brother, Michael.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Rafferty Funeral Home, Moline.
