Funeral services for Miss Elsie Armstrong, 59, who died last Wednesday in Denver, Colo., were held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery at 2 p. m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Maynard Rogers, pastor of Hagerman Baptist Church.

Miss Armstrong was born in Waterloo, June 24, 1882, and up until 30 years ago was a resident of the city.

She was formerly a teacher in the old Central School here, and taught in the Chicago schools for 30 years prior to her recent illness.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Armstrong, Denver; a sister, Cora Armstrong, New York City, and a brother, William Armstrong, Denver.
