Irene M. Fisher, 89, of Osage, Iowa, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Sunday October 21 at her home.

She was born February 1, 1918 in Waterloo, the daughter of Clyde W. and Anna Klein Guynn. She married Harold Elliott in 1942 and they were later divorced. She married Robert Gene Fisher July 23 1977 in Waterloo. He died October 30 1995.

Survivors include two sons, David Elliott of Altoona and Michael (Sherry) Elliott of Waterloo; three daughters: Darlene Ross of Cedar Rapids, Diane (Karl) Schaffner of Osage, and Michelle Sherman of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Brinkman of Waterloo and Geraldine Nirk of Stout.

She was preceded in death by a great-great-grandson; three brothers: Leo, Melvin, and Richard Guynn; and by two sisters, Isabelle Trusty and Maxine Lohrman.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 4:00 p.m. Legion of Mary Rosary and a 7:00 p.m. vigil and at the church for an hour before services on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Iowa of Charles City.
