CEDAR FALLS - Vivian D. Zimmermann, 79, of Washbum formerly of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of cancer.

She was bom June 30, 1920, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Harold and Emma Jensen Lindberg. She married Ervm Jokumsen on Jan. 31, 1941, in Des Moines He died Nov. 6, 1983. She married Horst Zimmermann April 15, 1 989, in Cedar Falls.

Survived by her husband; a son, Steve Jokumsen of Holland, Mich.; a daughter, Carol Schaefer of Waterloo; three stepsons: Horro Zimmermann of Onalaska, Wis., Ben Zimmermann of Hudson and Manfred Zimmermann of Pace, Fla.; five grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and five great-srandchildren; two sisters, Zella Brown of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Ruth Meyer of San Pedro, Calif.; a half brother, the Rev. Harold Johnson of Raytown, Kan.

Preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Lindberg; and four sisters: Fern Bligh, Florence Lopez, Hazel Foster and Evelyn Dietmier.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p m Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
