Mrs. Martha M. Carras, 81, of 2107 W. Fourth St., died at Friendship Village Retirement Center at 12:10 p.m. Sunday of complications of age.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Pittsburgh, Pa., with burial in Pittsburgh.

A scripture service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Monday. The body will be taken to Pittsburgh Tuesday morning.

She was born Oct. 10, 1893, in Germany, the daughter of John and Monica Jankowski. She came to the United States at the age of 15. She married Athanasios Carras in Pittsburgh in 1913
and he died in 1939.

Survivors include a son, John, of Pittsburgh; and three daughters: Mrs. Verne F. Clute, of 2107 W. Fourth St., with whom she lived for the past 10 years,. Mrs. Frank Chapas, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Andrew Meier, of Sulphur Springs, Tex.
