Mrs. Mae Shifflett

Services for Mrs. Mae Shifflett, 89, of 600 Park Road, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Westminster United Presbyterian Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She died Friday morning at Friendship Village.

She was born March 25, 1894, at Wyoming, Ill., daughter of Harry and Anna Thurston Leadley. She married Bert R. Shifflett June 20, 1917, at Wyoming, 1ll. He died in 1967.

She had been an elementary school teacher at several schools in Illinois, and served in the Navy in World War I.

She is survived by several nieces.

Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the Westminster United Presbyterian Church choir fund.
