Services for Juanita V. Andre, 71, of 639 Stephan Ave., will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery with burial in the cemetery. Mrs. Andre died Thursday night at Schoitz Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 6, 1911, at Cherokee, daughter of Louis and Anna Havig Gunstead. She married Robert M. Andre May 14, 1949, at Waterloo. She was a stenographer for 25 years for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Richard Diekman of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother, Lawrence Gunstead of Chicago.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel.

Memorials may be made to the Iowa Heart Association.
