CEDAR FALLS- Bobbie Jean Eastman Love, 65, of Cedar Falls died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, as a result of an accidental fall.

She was born August 13, 1943 in Eloy, Arizona, the daughter of Bob and Maude (Brazee) Pennington. She married Barry Eastman on October 17, 1962, and they later divorced. She married Burton Love on January 11, 2002 in South Padre, TX.

Bobbie loved exercising, gardening, boating, and traveling in their RV. She was very involved with all of her grandchildren's activities.

Survivors include her husband, Burt; two sons, Barry (Ann) Eastman of Cedar Falls, and Todd (Kristi) Eastman of Waterloo; four stepsons: Greg Love of Fayetteville, NC, Blake (Kathy) Love of Missoula, MT, Ryan (Kelly) Love of Margate, FL, and Troy (Susan) Love of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren: Ben and Mack Eastman, and Lauren, Charlie and Will Eastman; eleven step-grandchildren: Andy, Jake, and Brenna Love, Alex, Remy, Travis, and Serenity Love, and Zach, Anna, Blake and Taya Love; and two brothers, Joe (Jimmie) Pennington of Eloy, AZ, and Ron Pennington of Standfield, AZ.

Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy Pennington; and a step-daughter-in-law, Joy Love.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home (266-3525). A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 31 at Hartman Reserve Interpretive Center.
