WATERLOO - Donald L. Gramenz, 78, of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 05, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

He was born October 9, 1930, in rural Black Hawk County, Iowa, the son of Reinhart and Cora (Wilson) Gramenz. He married Iona "Pat" Gramenz June 7, 1951, in Waterloo, Iowa. She died October 11, 2008. He was employed in the upholstery department at the Jerald Sulky Company in Waterloo, retiring in 1990.

Survived by two daughters, Sherry L. Gramenz and Michelle R. (Ken) Hagger, both of Cedar Falls, three grandchildren; and a sister, Gloria (Lyle) Holmstrom of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
