Services for Joseph J. Matous, 75, of 255 Kenilworth Road, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Matous died Sunday afternoon (Oct. 12, 1986) at Parkview Gardens Care Center.

He was born May 20, 1911, in Dubuque, son of Jessie and Esther Matous. He married Bernice Hamilton in 1930 in Charles City. She died in 1951. He married Eleanor DeBello in 1959 in Dubuque. He worked at Deere & Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1973.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Joseph H. of Waterloo; a daughter, Joyce Wilckin of San Diego, Calif.; a stepson, Gary Lehr of Hudson; two stepdaughters, Judy Wells and Rosemary Rosel, both of Florida; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin of Dubuque; and two sisters, Margaret Haas and Eleanor Nolle, both of Dubuque.

A Scripture service will be 7:30 p.m. today at O'Keefe &Towne-Carter & Waychoff Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the church.
