RAYMOND — Darlene M. Weber, 67, of Raymond, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born May 2, 1945, in Waterloo, daughter of Lawrence Jacob Schmit and Mildred Schares Schmit. On Feb. 22, 1965, she married John “Jack” Edmund Weber in Jesup.

Mrs. Weber graduated in 1963 from Don Bosco High School, Gilbertville. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Raymond.

Survived by: her husband; four daughters: Sister M. Martha (Karen) Weber of Alton, Ill., Barbara Weber of Chandler, Ariz., Kim (Steve) Seibert of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Nicole Weber of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Mark (Christy) of Waterloo and Gary of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren: Mackenzie, Ryan and Abbi Weber, and Sophia and Noah Seibert; seven brothers: LeRoy (Joan), Cleo (Evelyn), Neil (Patti), Earl (Cindy), Duane (Annette), Alfred (Lisa) and Clyde (Brenda) Schmit, all of Jesup; two sisters, Audrey (Brad) Huff and Mary Ann Schmit, both of Marion; and a sister-in-law, Janie Schmit of Jesup.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Ernest Schmit.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Raymond. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. The casket will not be open before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George, Alton, Ill.; the Bosco System, Gilbertville, and St. Joseph Church, Raymond.
