George Fink, 93, of 206 Linden Avenue, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday at his home of complications incident to advanced age.

He was born Mar. 10, 1857, in New York City, the son of John and Kathrina Fink, and moved to Bennington Township, Black Hawk County, when he was seven years old.

Mr. Fink married Eva Widdell* in Bennington Township in 1892. They farmed there until 35 years ago when he retired and moved to Waterloo.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward, 210 Linden Avenue, and Walter, 135 Dearborn Avenue; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Mapes, 1125 Bertch Avenue, and Mrs. Lena Rients, Detroit, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one daughter.

Mr. Fink was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.
