Mrs. William Holder New Hartford Dies

Services were held at 2 p.m. sunday at Washington Chapel Evangelical United Brethren Church for Mrs. William Holder of New Hartford. Rev. W.T. Boston officiated. Burial was in the Washington Chapel Cemetery. [Cedar Falls, Iowa]

Mrs. Holder was born Hilda Baier, November 1, 1905 at Gladbrook, the daughter of Jacob and Christina Baier, and died at Satori Hospital Friday at 5:30 a.m. at the age of 57. She had lived in the Cedar Falls, New Hartford area since her marriage to William Holder, June 5, 1926.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter Mrs. Darlene Soldwisch, three grandsons of Shellrock, her mother Christina Beckman of Waterloo, three sisters and six brothers: A,F. Baier, Phoenix, Arizonia, William Baier, Beaman, Mrs. Helen Jindrick of Gladbrook, Harry Baier, Sacramento, California, Mrs. Mary Putman, Waterloo, Woodrow C. Baier, Sumner, Mrs. Irwin Jacobsen, LaPorte City, Louis L. Baier, Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her father and eight brothers and sisters.

She had been a member of the Washington Chapel church since 1941 and was a teacher of the Sunday school class at the time she entered the hospital six weeks ago. She was also a member of the Women's Society of World Service of Washington Chapel.
