WATERLOO — Leora E. Musser, 95, of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Friendship Village.

She was born July 5, 1917, in Riley County, Kan., daughter of Henry and Mabel Harrison Mugler. She married Lloyd Musser on June 5, 1941, in Leonardville, Kan. He died Sept. 10, 1999.

Mrs. Musser earned her bachelor’s degree from Westmar College, Le Mars, and taught music and English in public schools in Kansas and then Iowa.

Survived by two daughters, Ardeth (Marlyn) Kosanke of San Diego and Janet (Ken) Davis of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Warren Mugler of Lakewood, Colo.; and a sister, Harriet Semke of Plymouth, Minn.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Village Chapel, Waterloo, with private burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls.
