Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Kearns Garden Chapel for Fred Westcott, 60, of 337 Kothe Avenue, who died at 2:15 a.m. Monday at his home, of a stroke.

He was born Feb. 28, 1890, at Grand Island, Neb., the son of John and Mary Wescott. He married Nellie Hackett at La Porte City, Iowa.

Mr. Westcott was employed here by the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works as a core inspector. He had lived here six years, coming from Galdbrook, Ia.

Mr. Westcott is survived by one son Clarence, also of 337 Kothe Avenue, three brothers: Jacob, Union, Ia/. Everett, Mt. Auburn, Ia., and William, 911 Mulberry Street.

His wife preceded him in death.

Rev. Milton Northdurft, pastor of Linden Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Engledow Cemetery at Mt. Auburn.
