Jeanie E. Lester, 73, of the Cedar Falls Healthcare Center, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born May 18, 1932, in Goodrich, North Dakota, the daughter of William F. and Magadelena (Gerhring) Dockter. She married Dallas Lester and was later divorced. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Redland University in Redland, CA. She was an elementery instructor in the San Bernadino California school system.

Jeanie is survived by her sisters, Olivia (Burt) Franklin-Angus and Edna Dockter of Grand Junction, CO; and brothers, Gus Dockter of Hurdsfield, ND, Richard Dockter of Casper, Wyoming, and Irvin Dockter of California.

There will be no services or visitation. Her body has been cremated. Inurnment will occur at a later date in the Goodrich Cemetery, Goodrich, ND.
