Mrs. Sophie Barta, passed away at the home of her daughter and son in
law, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Moline, yesterday morning at 2 o'clock. The cause of death was old age and complications.

The funeral services will be held from the home this afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev. R. E. Graves In charge. Burial will be made in Fairview.

Besides the husband the surviving relatives are the daughter, Mrs. Moline and a son, Vincent, both residing in this city.

Mr. and Mrs. Barta resided in Marshalltown for forty years and have lived in Waterloo for three months.
