David W. Muse, Sr

David was born August 1, 1925, in Wheeler, Mississippi, the son of Robert Cecil and Jessie Myrtle (Cox) Muse. He served his Country in the United States Navy during World War II. On July 27, 1957, he was united in marriage to Ruth E. Stutts in Greenville, Mississippi. She died February 2, 2001. He was employed at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 20 years, retiring July 31, 1987.

Survived by his son, David E. Muse Jr. of Cedar Falls; daughter, Debbie Anderson of Rockford, IL; step-daughters, Carolyn Schwartz of Newport Beach, CA and Billie Cross of Redmond, WA; step-son, Donald Maddox of North Little Rock, AR; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Muse of Heber, AR and sisters, Laura "Connie" South of Waterloo, IA and Betty Krawczak of Flint, MI.

David died Sunday, December 7, 2003 at his home in Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Paul Muse.
