Marvin Schiller
Cedar Falls, Iowa

Marvin was born October 17, 1940, the son of George and Corlena (Cordes) Schiller. He graduated from Grundy Center High School in 1959. On November 11, 1961, he was united in marriage to Marita J. "Rita" Points, in Miami, OK. He was employed in the street department in Grundy Center prior to marriage, then with Fuller Brush as a salesman in Ft. Worth, TX and finally a machinist with John Deere, retiring due to health.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Rita of Cedar Falls; son Jim J. (Sara) Schiller of West Union; daughter, Teresa Kaye Schiller of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, and Payton Schiller, Ashley Neelans, and Madeline Martin; two sisters, Lena DeLange of Grundy Center and Leona Johnson of Reinbeck; two brothers, Harry (Lil) Schiller and Herman (Millie) Schiller, all of Grundy Center; and godchild, Dan Raffield of Waterloo.

Marvin died Wednesday, February 02, 2005, at his home in Cedar Falls of cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ella Tjepkes and Frances Chestnut; and brother, George Schiller.
