CARL H. MOLINE

Death came at 2 p. m. Saturday at Alien Memorial Hospital to Carl H. Moline, 81, of Rt. 2. Cause of death was uremic poisoning.

Mr. Moline was born Sept. 28, 1876, in Orebro, Sweden. He came to the United States in 1805, marrying Sophia Barta in Marshalltown, in 1900. He came to Waterloo in 1904, and lived here until his death, operating the Moline Cut Stone Works on Commercial St. until his retirement in 1945.

Mr. Moline was a member of the Lutheran faith, and belonged to the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Ann, 811 Mulberry St., and Mrs. Jenny Anderson, Rt. 2; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a daughter.

Funeral arrangements are pending at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home, with the services tentatively set for Tuesday.

Funeral services for Carl H. Moline will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home. The Rev. Franz E. Oerth, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Black Lodge no. 72, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, will conduct graveside committal services. Mr. Moline, 81, of Rt. 2 died Saturday at Allen Memorial Hospital of uremic poisoning.
