Funeral services for Mrs. Sophia J. Moline, 90, of Moline Rd. who died of complications incident to advanced age in her home at 3 a.m. Wednesday will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home.

The Rev. Richard Pfaltzgraff, pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moline, member of the family that gave Moline Road its name, was born Sophia J. Barta, at Ellsworth, Kan., Dec. 1, 1880, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Barta. She attended school at Quarry, and later was a music major at Friend's Academy, LeGrand, la.

In January of 1900 she, was married to Carl Moline, coming in 1904 to Waterloo where they established a cut stone business at 827 Commercial St. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Royal Neighbors of America, Rebekah Lodge, Women's Relief Corps and Social Band.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Anderson, Moline Rd., two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two daughters, one of whom was Ann Moline, for many year a leading Waterloo organist.
