Sandra Schrag was born October 29, 1944, in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of George Orson and Frances Mary (Penne) Schrag. She was employed as a telephone operator with Northwestern Bell for 15 years and then was a telephone line installer for Qwest for 17 years, retiring in 1993. She received her master gardener certification.

She is survived by two sons, Chad J. (Jennifer) Demro of Anchorage, Alaska and Jaydon D. Schrag of Cedar Falls; daughter, Tami L. Fintel of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Braden and Lindsey Fintel, both of Cedar Falls and Brooke Klemz of Waterloo; one great grandchild, Kodi Torticell of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Andrew and Ronald Schrag, both of Sacramento, CA and sister, Beverly Mir of San Diego, CA.

Sandra died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at her home in Cedar Falls from fiber myalgia.
