Jerome Lawrence Wagner, 45, former Gilbertville and Waterloo resident, died in Pueblo, Colo., at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday of a heart attack.

Funeral services will be in Pueblo Friday and the body will be brought to the Oppold Funeral Home where friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday. Rosary services will be held at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilbertville.

Mr. Wagner was born Oct. 28, 1918, the son of Leo M. and Magdaline Demuth Wagner, in Ray, N.M. He came to Gilbertville with his family as a small child.

He married Relda M. Williams Dec. 31, 1945, in St. John's Catholic Church in Waterloo. They moved to Pueblo 11 years ago. He was employed there in an Army Ordnance Depot. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Pueblo, the Holy Name Society and the American Legion.

Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Peggy and Sandra; two sons, Larry and Michael, all at home; father, Leo M. Wagner, of the Allen Memorial Home; two brothers, Bernard, Gilbertville; and Vince, of Rt. 4, five sisters: Mrs. Shirlie Lantz, Rt. 4; Mrs. Wayne Hoofnagle, Rt. 1; Mrs. Dan O'Connell, Rt. 4; Mrs. Romain Neisen 629 W. 9th St., and Miss Juanita Wagner, of Rt. 4.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister.
