Services for Charles Shook, 96, of 318 Gable St., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, where friends may call.

He died at Allen Memorial Hospital Saturday, night.

He was born Jan. 29, 1878, in Ohio, the son of James and Hannah Frey* Shook. He married Mela Steele Oct. 17, 1900, in Waukon, and she preceded him in death. He married May Church in December of 1937. He was a self-employed dental technician.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Bernise Giolitto, of La Mesa, Calif.; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. James Stoker, of Council Bluffs.

Friends who wish may give memorials to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
