WATERLOO — Steven A. Graham, 64, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center from complications of heart failure.

He was born March 28, 1949, in Toledo, son of Arthur Jr. and Dorothy Anderson Graham. He married Sandy Joens on Sept. 21, 1979, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Hudson.

He graduated from West High School in 1967. Mr. Graham worked for Ziedler Concrete; then John Deere for 30 years, retiring in September 2002 from the Engine Works. He later worked part time at Allen Hospital in valet parking. He was a very active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eagles Club, UAW Local 838 and in Boy Scouts as Scout Master. He also grilled for community meals.

Survived by his wife; three sons: Steve Jr. of North Liberty and Dan and Issac, both of Waterloo; a daughter Sara (Ben) Kavalier of Waterloo; two granddaughters, Haley Graham and Brianna Graham; his dad, Arthur (Marie) Graham of Waterloo; three sisters: Barbara (Del) Detweiler of Freeport, Ill., Becky (Steve) Dotzler of Cedar Falls and Cindy (Dave) Stentiford of Waterloo; a brother, Bob of Perkiomenville, Pa.; four stepsisters: Cheryl (Greg) Lown of Minneapolis, Teresa (Dave) Holmes of Macungie, Pa., Diane (Tim) Lyons of Federal Way, Wash., and Lori (Marty) Van Horn of Waterloo; and three stepbrothers, Larry (Kellie), Steve (Kelli) and Dan (Mary) Hubert, all of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Gabe Graham; his mother; a sister, Linda Herd; and a stepsister, Kathy Aswegan.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waterloo,with burial in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Hudson. Visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
