CEDAR FALLS- Edna J. Budlong, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1916 in Hudson, daughter of Delbert and Edith Ehret Iseminger. She married Otis Budlong on April 2, 1941 in Waterloo.

Mrs. Budlong graduated from Iowa State Teachers College in 1937. Following graduation she taught school in Toledo and Stanhope, and had substituted in Janesville. She was Past Worthy Matron of the Janesville Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband; three sons: Del (Marsha) of Bethlehem, PA, Jim of Cedar Falls and Irving of Edina, MN; one daughter, Kathy (George) Hoellen of Lincoln, NE; eight grandsons: Steve (Trisha) Budlong, Jeff Budlong, Blair (Anne) Budlong, Ryan Budlong, Austin Budlong, Revs Scott (Laurie) Budlong, Jay (Jill) Hoellen and David (Paige) Hoellen; two granddaughters, Barb Cunningham and Stephanie (David) Kundsen; three great-grandchildren, Drew Budlong, Ashley Budlong and Cash Budlong; and three sisters: Alice Petersen of Waterloo, Neva Johansen of Cedar Falls and Ruth Iseminger of Pasadena, CA.

Preceded in death by five brothers: John, James, Ted, Ralph and Ray; one sister, Marian Branson; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Budlong.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with private family graveside service in Greenwood Cemetery earlier Friday. Public visitation from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Western Home Communities.
