WASHBURN - Joyce Ann Olson, 55, of 309 1st. St., Washburn, died Friday, Nov. 15, 1996 at Covenant Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born April 22, 1941, in Vinton, daughter of Wayne M. and Irene Minkel Kelley. She married Robert Kucera on March 22, 1958, they were later divorced. She then married Roger Olson on Jan. 27, 1977, in Waterloo. She was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband of Washburn; two sons, Vince Kucera of Dallas and Frank Kucera of Waterloo; five daughters: Linda Wentz of Waterloo, Sandra Grady of Waterloo, Ramona Francis of La Porte City, and Kimberly Kucera of Dallas; four brothers: Jack, Duane and Chuck Kelley, all of Waterloo, and Jim Kelley of Cedar Falls; five sisters: Barb Obadal of Swisher, Deb Roney, Beverly Conklin and Pat Kulish, all of Waterloo, and Donna Cook of Cory, PA.; 10 grandchildren; a step-son, Brett Olson, and a stepdaughter, Brenda Smith, both of Waterloo and two step-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Kucera; a brother, Richard Kelley; and a sister, Mary Kelley.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Garden View Chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services.
