CEDAR FALLS - Karen Colby Pike, 40, of Gifford, Ill., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996, at Covenant Hospital, Urbana, Ill., of a heart attack.

She was born August 14, 1956, in Waterloo, daughter of Robert and Virginia Kinzler Colby. She was a self-employed seamstress.

Survived by a daughter, Jamie Colby of Cedar Falls; her parents of Cedar Falls; a brother, Steven Colby of Loveland, Colo.; a sister, Kathryn Elliott of Covina, Calif.; and her companion, Robert Hendricks of Gifford.

Services were Saturday at Lux Funeral Home, Rantoul, Ill., with burial of remains at a later date in Waterloo.
