CEDAR FALLS- Robert H. "Bob" Plum, 61, died Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Sartori Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

Bob was born May 28, 1947, in Sioux City, IA, the son of Bill and Fern E. (Splinter) Plum Jr. He graduated from Central High School in Sioux City and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Bob was united in marriage to Deborah A. Wall on May 22, 1976, in Sioux City. He worked for the Sioux City Wilbert Burial Vault Company until 1978 when he was appointed General Manager of the Waterloo Wilbert Vault Company.

He is survived by his wife of Cedar Falls; his two daughters, Karri A. (Greg R.) Estuesta of Minneapolis, MN, and Sara B. (Tony R. Oldenburger) Plum of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Richard (Cathy) Plum of Fayetteville, NY, and Roger (Diane) Plum of Sioux City, Iowa.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister in infancy.

Graveside services will occur 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Iowa. Calling at the Richardson Funeral Home will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family present.

A memorial has been established to be directed through the family.
