Arlene M. Kemming
Cedar Falls, Iowa

Arlene was born February 2, 1921, in Janesville, Iowa, the daughter of Clyde and Rose (Brandenburg) Briner. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1938. On February 8, 1942, she was united in marriage to Victor E. Kemming in Waverly. He died October 28, 2005. She was employed as a clerk at JCPennys and later John Deere.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Pam) Kemming of Waverly, and Ken (Judy) Kemming of Harper's Ferry; daughters, Karen (Larry) Pritchard of Cedar Falls, Nancy (Ray) Whitney of Horicon, WI, and Deb (Jon) Hagge of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Arlene died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Willowwood-Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Wesley and Harland Briner; and sister, Darlys Lewis.
