CEDAR FALLS, IOWA — Cheryl Kay Sevey, 58, of Charles City, and formerly of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died on Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born on February 18, 1947, in Waterloo, the daughter of Harold and Julia (Combs) Richmond. Mrs. Sevey was a 1965 graduate of Cedar Falls High School. She married Jim A. Sevey on April 10, 1965, in Muscatine.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tammy Sevey of Charles City; a son, Jim H. (Mary) of Janesville; three grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Hansen of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by an infant son, Tim.

Graveside services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Cheryl Kay Sevey was born February 18, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Julia (Combs) Richmond. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1965. On April 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Jim A. Sevey in Muscatine, Iowa. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jim of Charles City, Iowa, daughter; Tammy Sevey of Charles City, Iowa, son; Jim H. (Mary) Sevey of Janesville, Iowa, sister; Phyllis Hansen of Waterloo, Iowa, three grandchildren; Cherise Sevey, Timothy Eisenmenger and Matthew Eisenmenger.

Cheryl died Sunday February 20, 2005, at Allen Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant son, Tim.
