CEDAR-FALLS — Alice M. Bluhm, 92, of Cedar Falls, formerly of 1217 Glenny Ave., died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at Bickford Cottage.

She was born Sept. 6, 1912, in Dunkerton, daughter of Harry and Nellie Bell Carnes. She married Raymond R. Bluhm on June 3, 1936, in Wadena, Minn. He died Dec. 5, 2000. Mrs. Bluhm taught school in Minnesota for many years.

Survivors include two brothers, Thomas (Betty) Carnes of Grawn, Mich., and Orville (Monica) Carnes of Sacramento, Calif.; and two sisters, Nina (Melvin) Lehman of Wadena and Stella (Gerald) Bluhm of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Carnes.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, with private burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
