Floramye Wiseman was born November 3, 1916, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of John Wesley and Mary Della (Krantz) Acuff. She graduated from East High School in Waterloo. On September 26, 1947, she was united in marriage to James W. Wiseman in Waterloo. She was employed at the Waterloo John Deere Component Works in the payroll department for 36 years, retiring in 1973. She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Waterloo.

She is survived by her husband, James W. Wiseman of Cedar Falls and several cousins.

Floramye died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
