WATERLOO — Donna M. Lauterbach, 78, of 1925 Westchester Road, Apt. 202, died Sunday Feb. 20, 2005, at Allen Hospital of cancer.

She was born March 19,1926, in Grundy Center, daughter of Elza and Julia Marie Himschoot Boren. She married Russell E. Lauterbach on May 26, 1944, in Reinbeck. Mrs. Lauterbach graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1944.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Karen (John A.) Williams of Evanston, Ill.; a son, Gordon (Beth) of Waterloo; four granddaughters, Anissa (Will) Jordan of Macon, Ga., Emily Williams of Long Island, N.Y., and Sarah and Erinn Lauterbach, both of Waterloo; a great-grandson, Evan Jordan; and a sister, Frances Pates of Apple Valley, Minn.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Laverne and Wayland Boren; and two sisters, Vivian Clark and Geraldine Hargis

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Congregational Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery Mends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the church, American Heart Association, or American Cancer Association.
