HUDSON—Services for Robert Bellman Harvester, 70, of 4050 W. Schrock Road, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hudson Community Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Waterloo. Flag-folding rites will be conducted by Becker-Chapman Post 138 of the American Legion. Mr. Harvester died at his home Tuesday.

He was born Aug. 29, 1912, at River Falls, Wis., son of August and Linnette Bunce Haberstich. He married Nona Anton Feb. 1, 1946, at Corona, Calif. He was owner-operator of Harvester Landscape Service in Waterloo for 37 years, retiring in 1976 when he and his wife moved to Hudson.

He had served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II from 1943-45.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Thomas R. Harvester of Elma, Wash.; six brothers: Raymond Harvester of McPherson, Kan., James Haberstich of Independence, Ore., Daniel "Pat" Haberstich of Marshalltown, Glenn Haberstich of 1333 Wallgate Ave., William Haberstich of 130 Lichty Blvd., and Edwin Haberstich of Glendale, Ariz.; and four sisters: Mrs. Oscar Leeper of Madras, Ore., Mrs. Earl Neidigh of Nehalem, Ore., Mrs. Glenn Watterson of Brooklyn, Mich., and Mrs. Gordon Walters of 6033 Logan Ave.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel in Waterloo from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the church or to the Heart Fund.
