Services for B. C. "Red" Forde, 59, of 1703 Commercial St., will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns—Dykeman Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. He died Friday morning at St. Francis Hospital.

Born Jan. 16, 1924 in Waukon, he was the son of Clarence and Lucille Thomas Forde. He worked for the Waterloo Schools and was head custodian at Logan Junior High School.

He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II, seeing service in Europe, Africa, the Midddle East and Pearl Harbor.

Survived by a brother, Wayne, of Tempe, Ariz, a half—brother, Robert Whalen, of Sussex, England; two sisters, Mrs. Nadean Trudo of Rogers, Ark., Mrs. Lavern Frisbey of 1703 Commercial St,

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
