Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Florence Spies, 74, of 2616 W. 4th Street, who died Thursday afternoon at Schoitz Memorial Hospital, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Dunkerton. Burial will be in Grandview* Cemetery, Dunkerton.

Mrs. Spies had lived here for 20 years, coming here from Dunkerton.

She is survived by her husband, George, a son, Floyd of Dunkerton, two daughters, Mrs. Everette Ackerman, Cedar Falls and Vera Spies, 2626 E. 4th Street; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Meester, Holland, Iowa, and Alice Rogers, Waterloo; a brother, Ralph Rogers, Marshalltown and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Spies was a member of the First Baptist Church, Waterloo.

The body will lie in state at the son's home in Dunkerton after 1 p.m. Sunday until time for the services.

Friends who wish may contribute to Mrs. George B. Spies Memorial Fund, either at the First Baptist Church in Waterloo or the First Baptist Church in Dunkerton.

The body is at the Brant Funeral Home, Oelwein.
