Funeral services for Winfred D. Crowe, 63, of 636 Evans Road, Evansdale, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Chapel of Memories West, where friends may call until the time of the service. The Rev. David L. Moore, pastor of Walnut Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Crowe died of a heart attack and complications of pneumonia at 8:45 p.m. Saturday in University Hospital, Iowa City.

He was born May 26, 1906, at Tompkinsville, Ark., to Sherman and Etta Ford Crowe and married Marie Turner in Waterloo on Nov. 12, 1930. Mr. Crowe was a truck operator and had been employed for the past 21 years by the Rath Packing Co.

He is survived by his widow; five sons: Dean of 2612 Victory Drive, Cedar Falls, Eugene of 105 Oak Ridge Drive, Gerald of 1768 Corning Ave, and David and Richard, at home; three daughters: Mrs. Doris Bender of 1127 Littlefield Ave., Mrs. Shirley Rogers of 6312 Lafayette Road, Raymond, and Diane, at home; five sisters: Mmes, Roxie Gillanwater and Essie Bennett, both of Tuscola, Ill., Mmes, Effie Williams and Bessie McNary, both of Arcola, Ill., and Mrs. Irena Grant of Lafayette, Ind.; and 14 grandchildren.

Mr. Crowe was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
