LA PORTE CITY — Services for Lizzie M. Dehrkoop, 95, of 906 Poplar St., will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at American Lutheran Church, with burial in Dysart Cemetery, Dysart. She died Saturday afternoon (May 21, 1988) at Colonial Manors.

Mrs. Dehrkoop was born March 17, 1893, in Benton County, daughter of Fred and Anna Wagner Luze. She married Henry A. Dehrkoop Sept. 19, 1911, in White, S.D. He died Aug. 19, 1969.

Survivors include three daughters, lola Dehrkoop of La Porte City, Maye Williams of Parkersburg and Irene Luxon of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Kate Carlson of Laurens; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin; nine brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Huisman Funeral Home, and one hour before services at the church.
