Marvin H. Dehrkoop, 46, of Route 4, died Friday afternoon at Schoiiz Memorial Hospital of complications of uremia.
Funeral services will be tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. LaVern Kampfe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Dysart. Friends may call at the O'Keefe. & Towne Funeral Home up; to noon tomorrow when the body will be transferred to the church.
Mr. Dehrkoop was born in White, S. D.. on May 1*, 1915, the son of Harry** and Lizzie Luze Dehrkoop. He was married in Marshalltown, to Pauline Richards on March 25, 1939. He and his family came to Orange, Township, in 1930. He has been farming since that
time.Before coming to Waterloo the family lived at Dysart. He graduated from high school there in 1933 and was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Kimball Ave. Zion Lutheran Church here. He was also a member of the Black Hawk County Farm Bureau.
Survivors besides his widow, include five children: Marlene, Joyce, Richard and Roger, all at home and Mrs. Riley Padgett; also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dehrkoop, La Porte City, and three sisters: Mrs. lola Dehrkoop, Wilmette, Illinois, Mrs. James Williams, Parkersburg, and Mrs. G. A. Luxon, 1169 Lindner Drive.
